In the second game of the day Jayce Smith came into the second row for the influential Sloan and Ilkeston maintained their momentum with one try apiece for impressive centres Davidson and Marzano. Hickinbotham came very close to scoring his maiden try for the club after a powerful break down the wing was held up over the line.
