A later start this Sunday was welcome for a change. Once again the boys were able to keep their discipline over multiple phases, forced by Corsairs' wrap up tackles, resulting in some fine 'team tries' as well as individual run ins. Conversely, Corsairs rarely needed to go through so many breakdowns to score, partly as they offloaded well and partly because the Elks defended very narrowly after first phase and the speedy ones were able to dance around the outside. I was impressed by individuals on both teams, but especially by the Elks willingness to involve the whole team in contributing to the entertainment.
Once again two well-matched sides.
