A Great Start

It was a better day than expected weather wise and the sun shone brightly in the beautiful Derbyshire Countryside. We played two games against two Ilkeston sides and scored lots of trys and took lots of tags. We were very well disciplined and Kyla did a fantastic job of sorting out the defensive lines. Henry Crocker when tagged did just as we had practised in training and took his time and did lovely passes back. Tyler was super quick, Archie did some excellent dodging, Thomas Gough took lots of tags, and Blake’s catching and support work was superb. This was the first game of the season and everyone deserves a big pat on the back. Due to the excellent team work everyone got player of the day. Well done.
