Derby Mini Festival - 21/10/12

After a pea souper start the clouds parted and we had a fine day. From being told we were playing 4 a side it was finally decided that the matches should be 7 aside, leaving us a player short. We need to say a big thank you to Sol and Owen who joined us from other teams and who did a sterling job.
Once again the team played with great enthusiasm and pace and behaved impeccably. They worked fantastically as a team. Tyler once again amazed us all with his turn of pace, Thomas Gough stormed down the sidelines leaving all in his wake, Kyla took off and left everyone standing with the straightest run to score a try the team has seen, Blake was consistently in the right place at the right time and scooped more loose balls scoring a fantastic try, Henry once again passed excellently and Archie made some amazing tags.
A huge pat on the back for everyone and once again their teamwork earned them all player of the day.
