U7s Ilkeston v Matlock/Mosborough

Well done to everyone who played on Sunday against Matlock and Mosborough.
A big thank you to Matlock and Mosborough who were great fun and who played some fantastic rugby.
The pitchs were muddy and got progressively so during the morning but that did not dampen the enthusiasm of all the teams.
The Ilkeston players all had to take turns in coming off and some of you even had to make the numbers up in other teams so a big thank you.
My oldest U7s Blake, Archie, Thomas, Alex, and Kyla once again did an outstanding job of scoring trys, tagging, and excellent support and team work. Every week they are consistently fantastic. A special mention to Henry Crocker who ran straight on for two fantastic trys.
The newest U7s Lucas, Henry Barker-Pine, Cameron, and Jamie, showed great enthusiasm and determination and fitted in amazingly.
Player of the day went to Cameron. It was his first match with the U7s and his focus on taking tags was absolutely brilliant.
