On Saturday the 27th April several members of the U14’s assisted Ilkeston rotary club in the annual bed push to raise funds for the league of friends at Ilkeston hospital.
We were asked at very short notice to assist. The lads had no hesitation in volunteering and joined in the excellent community spirit. At the end of last season the Rotary club of Ilkeston sponsored a set of shirts for the team , which they are proud to wear . As can be seen they turned out in full kit on a cold and wet day .
The Rotary Club , via their President Teresa Smith , have expressed their thanks to Ilkeston Rugby Club for their support at this event.
