I’m pleased to announce that Ben Wade has been appointed our new Head Coach.
During his playing career he gained great experience at the highest level having spent time at Gloucester and being part of the successful Rotherham Titans team that gained promotion to the Premiership. So far in his coaching journey he has been Head coach at Sheffield Tigers and more recently at Macclesfield RUFC, he will also continue to be part of the NLD Senior Representative coaching team.

Ben added “ I would like to thank Steve and the club for giving me the opportunity to join Ilkeston. Ben (Buxton)has left a good structure in place and I’m looking forward in helping to keep the club moving forward .
My aim is to develop the transition of the younger players coming from the Junior section to build the seniors infrastructure to enable Ilkeston to move to the next level .
