It is with heavy hearts that the club announce the passing of Paul Gallagher after a long illness over the past 18 months. Paul leaves behind his wife Claire and children Georgina, Izzy, Henry & Frankie. All our thoughts are with them at this difficult time.

Paul was a coach in our current U12s, where he coached his two sons and their friends. He will be remembered by us as a kind, warm and extremely generous man, whose family are a testament to what a great dad and husband he was. He will be missed and remembered in equal measure by the club.

Paul's funeral service will take place at 12.45pm on Thursday 4th November 2021 at the family's local church, St Michael and All Angels, Stanton by Dale, Derbyshire, DE7 4QD. Due to limited capacity seats will be prioritised for family and close friends, but all are very welcome. The service is being relayed outside of the church and will also be streamed via webcast (link to follow). The family will be walking with Paul at 12.30pm to the church, from the bottom of their drive (Manor Farm, Dale Rd, Stanton by Dale DE7 4QF). Service commences at 12.45pm.

Anyone form the club wishing to attend should inform Carol at The Stute by 28th October, so that she can make the family aware of numbers. Please bring a mask as numbers may require you to wear one.
