Two tries from Adam Corcoran and one apiece for Dan Taylor , Alex Ayres, Jake Heath, Hugh Smith and Jack Partington plus three conversions from Jake Lamb gave Elks an easy seven try bonus point win as they put right the disappointment of losing to Peterborough last season.
Elks never looked in any danger after they managed to sort out their handling skills which in the early part of the game were poor to say the least.
All seven tries were of the highest quality with players 1 to 15 involved. Peterborough only scoring their seven points while Elks were down to 14 men, Marc Moore having a 10 minute rest by order of the referee
Notable performances from Dan Taylor, some excellent tackling by Mat Mcguire, Greg Taylor who stepped in to play Fly-half at short notice and Adam Corcoran who had a very good 60 minutes (we'll forget the first 20 mins Corky) but Man of the Match went to Karter Soar for constant effort and being all over the park.
Next week we have Bugbrooke visiting the Stute who have started the season with 2 wins and 2 losses.
