Festival Code of Conduct – Spectators/Parents/Coaches and Players
DO
- Remember that the kids are playing for their enjoyment
- Show respect for officials and other players
- Be courteous to all
- Applaud and encourage good play
- Verbally support in a proactive manner
- Remember victory is not the only measurement of enjoying rugby
- Encourage everyone to play by the rules.
- Enjoy the day
DON’T
- Don’t force your child to play Rugby – they should play because they want to
- Don’t stray onto the pitch at any time unless part of the match
- Don’t abuse match officials or organisers – remember they are volunteers
- Don’t use bad language
- Do not use threatening nor intimidating behaviour
We have a zero-tolerance policy towards Match Official Abuse, anyone who is found acting in this manner will be asked to leave the festival and vacate the premises.
