Boasting one of the best Football pitches in the town and first class changing facilities The Stute plays host to several clubs and a number of Derby County Girls Centre of Excellence U17 matches have been held at the venue.

AFC Kirk Hallam

AFC Kirk Hallam is a football club based in Ilkeston and is a member of the Long Eaton Sunday League.

The club has continued to grow and improve year on year, and following a best ever league finish (5th in Division 1), they have expanded into two teams. The newly formed Reserves will enter the Long Eaton Sunday League Division 3 for the 2013-14 season and both sides will play all of their home league and cup games at The Stute.
